Clorox bleach pen works well. You can get it right in the seams. Let it soak for 10-20 min. It's time consuming but if you want the grout white then it's well worth it.
I use bleach clorox cleanup.
Use bleach. Careful not to get it on clothes or other surfaces that you don't want white.
i just use the bleach stuff it is like cleaning paste with bleach and a little elbow grease
Care polish will help but i doubt that it will overcome your problem.
There is a new blue rag that they sell in Canada and now here in the USA that has good results.
Also the dissolving cleaning white sponges are pretty good. Soft scrub may also help then I'd dilute and bleach it as a last resort overnight.
Powerful care polish with a machine will take your finish off or medium polish will only cause you work but not good results.
God luck.
I have very light colored counter tops as well. They stain VERY easily. I usually just spray Clorox Bleach Cleaner on the stain, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. The stains usually come right out. If you are looking to remove rust stains, I'd try CLR.
I make a bleach and water mix in a spray bottle, It even takes red wine off of my countertops. I actually use this on everything like my coffee table my nightstands the bathroom counters...ect. All over because it kills germs too.
Make a paste using Oxy-Clean ans rub it on the stains. It works on most stains. There is a product called Gel Gloss that you can find in places like Lowes that works great to protect counter tops and shower walls. It's simple to use.
I would use soft scrub. It is wonderful. If the stains are stubborn try using a stiff toothbrush. If you countertops are solid surface, installers recommend lightly sanding any stains that won't come off with common household cleaners. a third alternative would be a cleaner with bleach as an ingredient, just spray it on and let it set to see if the products will bleach out the stain.
I would suggest vinegar with baking soda and see if that helps if not WD40 would probably work and it is a good water repellent. I know this sounds crazy one office I clean have white counter tops and they are always getting ink on the counter top in the break room one time I did not have WD40 so I used Hand Sanitizer and it worked. The yellowing on the counter tops is probably water damage the WD40 is good to get those stains out. You might have to try more than one time.
this is a tough problem. however there is an easy solution. sams club has a product called proforce degreaser it is purple in color. just spray it on wait 1 minute wipe it off . it worked on my white counter tops. note: yellow is from grease this will also take out stains. i assume any good auto degreaser for car carpets should work almost as well and not hurt your counter top but test any product on a hidden area of your counter top first. because i do not know what your counter top is made of. as for protection from stains dont use anything i tried that and if a stain does get though you must remove the protectorant from the whole countertop to get it to look the same this can be very difficult
