Cleaning dirt black linoleum!! HELP!!?
Question:I have a kitchen floor made out of linoleum and it has started to turn black with dirt!! I can't get it out with Comet and/or several floor cleaners. It is black in many spots but you can still see the yellow/orange designs on the floor in other spots. I can tell by comparisons that the floor is not coming clean. What is a sure fire way to get it off easily and quickly? THANKS!!
Answers:
Try diluted ammonia.
ammonia might work, but make sure you ventilate well
bleach may work, but don't mix it with ammonia
If you have used wax in the past, the ammonia will strip off the old wax.
ammonia? when i had to clean my white linoleum floor, this is what i used to strip the wax. then rewax to keep the dirt at bay. hate the smell of ammonia. of course a dude would pick a white floor for a kitchen. LOL
love cleanser though & elbow grease.
in the vehicle iasle at any store, they sell a product called TOUGH STUFF. big yellow aresol can. it's AMAZING. it also gets old pet stains out of white carpet. i was shocked.
Good luck!! !Hope that helps!!
