How do you get rid of hard water spots on shower glass doors?

Question:

Answers:
Magic Eraser works great

CLR work really well if you do it early. If you wait too long your glass will become etched and can never be cleaned.
Equal parts of ammonia, vinegar and distilled water in a spray bottle will work.
vinegar works with a bit of elbow grease... or try using baking soda to scrub it down.
I use soapy hot water and vinegar , it always works for me,also so good elbow grease
If you can get a water softener that will solve about 90% of your problem. You'd probably want to get new doors to start off with if you go to all that trouble. Minerals deposit on the glass due to hard water, soap and scum. The water softener will be a huge improvement. Then clean daily to prevent any more buildup.

Vinegar is always worth a shot. If the surface is etched from the minerals, then you may need to replace the doors entirely.

TIP: I always use windshield washer fluid instead of Windex, I think it does a better job and it's a lot cheaper to buy it by the gallon and just refill a spray bottle.
We had this HORRBILY! First, take a shower so the steam sets in (best time to clean a shower is after a shower). Then, do a CLR treatment. We had to do 3! Did one, then the next day another. The easiest way to prevent is to squeegee after each shower and CLR once in a while
use lemon oil. works great with little effort.
I use CLR. You can buy it at Wal-Mart.
