I've had both and my gas dryer is the way I'll always go. It dries the best in is cheaper to use,
Gas is all ways cheapest in California. Specially with rolling blackouts during the summer.
Gas is both faster and less expensive. In fact, clothes dryers are the place where gas always wins. Go gas!
electric is better it has less things that can go wrong and if you have kids it is harder for an electric dryer to catch fire!!
