I broke a glass in the dishwasher.?
Question:Can they stick to the dishes and glasses in the wash and be dangerous? Or will the small shards wash out in the wash cycle and go down the drain?

I would assume they would just go down the drain. Open the dishwasher and let it air dry, and take a piece of bread and run it along the bottom of the dishwasher. If the bread has little pieces of glass on it.you'll need to clean it out.
Don't worry to much about the glass fragments getting on the other dishes. You should worry about the drain and the filter of your dishwasher. If it gets clogged up with a object, the pump will start making a loud noise, then it will burn out!
