My husband bought a Ralph Lauren button down shirt and it is so hard to iron. Do I throw it away?

Question:In Germany, I cannot find laundry starch, and I sprinkle water on the shirt to make it easier to iron, but to no avail! I want to throw the thing out-should I ask him if this is OK, or do I tell him he can only wear it every once in awhile?

Answers:
Well I do live in Germany and they sell laundry starch in EVERY grocery store (cleaning section)as well as in every drug store. Another easy way would be to put the shirt on a hanger and steam it with your iron (if it has the steam function).

Throwing it away would be a waste!

I would recommend taking it to the dry cleaners, and then it will be much easier to touch it up with the iron after he wears it.
Yes! Throw it away! why should you have to spend time worrying about ironing a shirt!
I do not own an iron!
I used to iron clothes for a living and when I quit that job I came home and threw my iron away, that was over 5 years ago!
I will never iron an item again! Freedom!!
send it to the cleaners
I had the same problem with a Ralph Lauren shirt, I just hung it at the back of the wardrobe and every time my husbands asked for it, I said oh its needs ironing put something else on. Its still in the back of the wardrobes now. Think he has forgotten he has it by now. hope so.
