EMERGENCY!! Need to remove nail polish from clothes, carpet, and a pillow.?
Question:Me and my sister were messing around and it spilled EVERYWHERE!! On my pants and shirt, the carpet and a pillow. We are washing the clothes in warm water with lots of soap and other clothing stuff. Please help, it is not working.
Answers:
A professional carpet cleaner will have to help you on the carpet.
Can the pillow be replaced? Pillows usually aren't all that expensive.
Are the stains on the clothes such that you could use other nail polises and randomly spot the clothes. Kind of an artistic "new" way to decorate your clothes? If you don't want to do that then the only way to attempt to get the nail polish out is with nail polish remover. Sadly, that might be harsh on your clothes. . . .might ruin them. Washing the fabric with lots of soap will not help at all, and the water may even serve to "set" the stain deeper into the fabrics.
This is quite a predicament you find yourself in and I feel for you. You may need to come clean and confess up to what you've done. Sounds like you need an adult on your side, like this is too big a mess for you to fix alone. A good lesson learned. Hard, but good.
Good luck.
nail polish remover and bleach lol
go buy some nail polish remover
see if it works
Throw the clothes, turn the pillow over, put your cat on the spot over the carpet, and dont tell your parents :)
okay. don't worry! I've done this before. And what I did was I got nail polish remover. And I put it on a towel. And then I scrubed the nail polish outa the carpet. It works! But then its going to smell afterwards. So take another towel and put water on it. Then scrub the nail polish remover out. And do the same on your clothes. But about the pillow. It should work. And once your done. Try washing the pillow.
go buy oops u can get it a wal- mart its a good cleaner i have a baby sister she spillss sh!!t every where
a nail polish remover available at the nearest supermarket
or even acetone would do the trick fine (available at the chemists')
you can't now.if you've already washed the clothes, you've set the polish. (heat and drying set nail polish) otherwise you can try hair spray and blot with whte paper towels. You also may have washed the polish onto other clothing. Never put ink, polish, etc stained clothing in with regular clothing, the 'stuff' comes off to contaminate the other clothes.
