First I would try straight vinegar and baking soda mixed together. It will foam up then take a scrub brush and clean it. Also if that does not work WD40 it is a good water repellent and is good getting stubborn stains out. When using WD40 make sure plenty of air stirring.
usually the stains are from mold. Id either buy a new one which aren't too expensive or buy the little floor things that stick to the bottom of the tub. i hate the mats because its a pain in the butt if you have to take out and dry every day, good luck
UGH, I tried bon ami with nylon scrubbie. a lot of elbow grease.
Next time it happened ( another bathroom elsewhere) I used oven cleaner. as long as you can ventilate the room. spray , leave the room, close the door and return about an hour later- rinse well and wash away any residue.
oh duh- I thought you meant the tub.
The mats can use a treatment of dishwasher detergent
try bleach water.
re paint the tub
Try Bleach.
Era laundry detergent. It is protein based and eats most proteins, that is why it can treat most organic stains. I use it on every stain and it always works. Sometimes you have to let it sit for about an hour but that is it. Good Luck!
When I moved into my home, it was dingy where the tub was etched to create a non-skid surface. I have good luck with the "magic sponges" or "miracle eracers". It's a lot of work, but possible. Who wants a dirty place to get clean in?
Wet the area with water, cover with Ajax cleanser, then pour bleach over that, wetting the entire surface. Leave overnight and scrub off in the morning. That should do it. Works for me.
