Next time you have a hard time ironing, throw a damp wash cloth in the dryer with the clothes and run it for maybe 20 minutes. That will take the wrinkles out and make it easier to iron. and yes, adjust the dryer setting to "cottons" and take the clothes out as it stops.
you should launder in the recommended temperature on the tag.
adjusting your drying temperature matters too according to tag.
I use cold for colors and warm for whites and jeans get an inbetween temp.
low temps in dryer for lightweight and polyester/nylon items and higher heat for heavy items - fold or hang immediately after drying.
40C is a warm wash... won't hurt them at all. The trick is to remove clothing at once as soon as wash has finished, shake well to remove creases and hang to air dry.
You can wash them on a 30Âșc wash . they will be just as clean, and they will be nice and soft. If you are putting them in the dryer , perhaps you should use a cooler program, Or if you are leaving them outside in the sun to long , then they will be hard. When you wash your jeans turn them inside out , like this you will keep the color from fading to much
