Ladies would u teach ur kids how too do laundry using ur washer and dryer or the laundromat?

mine, I don't have time to go to the laundromat. thye can figure that part out themselves

Laundromat. Nothing in life is free and kids get a sense of that at a place like the laundromat. Clean clothing is often taken for granted as something that is just 'there'.
That being said i have no kids and will probably teach any I do have on my own machine for simplicity's sake. But i can be a hypocrite.
I taught mine at home. I see your point though about them being familiar with laundromats for when they're on their own. But they'll figure it out when the time comes just as you did.
DEFINITELY! Your own facillities, AND the laundromat when things go wrong at home. All children should be brought up and taught life skills: cooking, cleaning, DIY, how to treat people, nutrition, etc. I would hope that men (fathers) would be involved in this teaching too.

I agree with B.T.- kids of both genders need to know all about taking care of the household. I have 3 boys and a younger girl and growing up they all learned how to do the laundry, cook and clean. And they were involved in the shopping, paying bills and bugeting things. The boys are just as self sufficent as my daughter! And they know how to do laundry 'properly'. not just throw everything in there together! They know about the temps and spot removal too. And believe me- your FUTURE daughter-in-laws will THANK YOU! lol
my own washing machine but i didn't have to teach them they learnt on ther own without telling them . and it was with my own
Well I would first teach my son how to use a washer and dryer by first taking him to the laundromat and teach him all the basics then eventually allow him under my supervision to operate my washer and dryer
I taught my kids using my washer/dryer. Why go to the laundromat when you already have the machines.
They already know because I try to make them as independent as they can be. I would use my washer and dryer. I only do their laundry now because I'm a nice person. lol.
(when i have kids) I will be using my washer and dryer for them to learn. i will also be only allowing them to wash linens and towels at first and not educating them about bleach for the first little while to avoid any disasters.
when you and I get together Norman, I will leave that up to you. Whereever you want them to learn is fine with me!!
