Does anyone know how to get rid of mold?
Question:I went to put my baby in his walker and discovered mould around the top of the fabric. I have scrubbed it with detergants and what ever else i can find but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
Answers:
Use a colorfast bleach product like Tide for colors. Bleach kills the mold. Also could try lemon juice to get rid of the stains from the mold. Spray on and then set it in the sun for a while( couple hours or more).
Clorox with color guard
Clorox Cleanup.
Make sure you rinse it well for the baby.
White wine vinagre and hot water should do the trick. Scrub hard though. NEVER bleach. It will take the colour right out.
Clorox is the best believe me
a pair of scissors
i would first make sure it is safe mold and not a dangerous form of mold. if it is not bleach and household cleaners can kill the mold.
Dilute bleach with water, in a spray bottle, 1/4 bleach, the rest water, spray and leave on for 1/2 hour, then wash with warm water and mild soap. Bleach will get rid of mold.
get some clorox wipes and clean it every morning before you put in the baby and every night when you are finished using it for the day...just try to keep it clean and dry
Beer will do the trick, scrub it using lots of beer.
Mold Buster Blend
10 drops Lemon essential oil
7 drops Cinnamon essential oil
5 drops Clove essential oil
5 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
5 drops Tea Tree essential oil
Mix your preferred household cleanser with 2 ounces of water in a chemical resistant spray bottle. Add the essential oils listed above, close the spray bottle, and shake well before using. You may want to wear gloves when using this cleaning solution (cinnamon essential oil in particular can be very irritating), and wear safety glasses to avoid eye irritation from accidental splashback.
