Does anyone know how to remove oil stain for my clothes?
Question:
Answers:
The absolute best way to remove an oil/grease stain is to pick up a bottle of Purple Power in the automotive section of most major stores. It is a degreaser, and wonderful for removing all oily/greasy stains from clothes. I've used it on all kinds of fabrics, and all colors, it's never harmed anything. I keep some in a spray bottle in my laundry room at all times! Naturally, because of the nature of oil and grease, use the hottest water the fabric can tolerate, makes it that much easier to remove.
In a pinch, you might be able to get by with dishwashing liquid or shampoo, if the stain isn't too bad. Plain ol' laundry pre-treater sometimes helps. I have heard of people using cornstarch, baby powder, and even rubbing chalk on the spot. Although some people swear by them, I haven't been overly impressed myself. I'll stick with my Purple Power any day. Good luck!
put some baby powder on it and let it stand for a while the powder will absorb some of the grease and then shake it off and wash it. it works
Use dishwashing soap.. the one which says grease cutting one. I have tried it and it worked. Use hot water while using the soap.
cut a fresh lemon cut in half , take half rub vigorously on stain then wash...
