Let in cool and form then use a warm iron (not hot) just enough to loosen up the wax and then it should peel off..
Note: don't use the iron on anything else until you make usre all the wax is off of it
try putting a brown paper bag on it and a hot iron. it should absorb the wax.
get a couple wash cloths that you don't mind throwing away and an iron.
put the cloth over the wax and place a hot iron on top of it, then pull the cloth up.
it has worked for me in the past..
Paper bag and an Iron. lay the brown paper bag on the wax and lay your hot iron on it swirl ur iron so u don't burn the carpet.u might wanna have some paper towels handy to wipe off excess from the iron. It's fast and easy and it does work.
I would let it harden and then place a used or old towel over the top and run a hot iron over the top. The wax will melt into the towel.
"You really can get candle wax out of carpet. It's not always easy, but wax can be removed with patience. Dyes from the wax are a different matter. Getting those out depends on what's in the particular dye.
Start by scraping as much wax out of the carpet as you can, with a spoon. Afterwards, put an ice cube or two on the wax to freeze it, leaving them there for a minute. This should harden the wax enough to break it up and get more of it out.
To get the rest of the candle wax out of the carpet, cover the spot with a clean brown paper bag, and place a clothes iron on it, set on low. This liquifies the wax and lets it transfer to the paper. Use a new paper bag as often as necessary until you get all of the wax. This can take some time."
This is the best method that i've used. I hope it works for you!
