What's the best way to get hard water and calcium build-up out of your shower?
Question:I've tried many conventional cleaners, but all have failed. Now I'm turning to you guys and girls for your expertise. Help Me Out! Please!
Answers:
At home depot, they have a calcium and hard water remover in the cleaning aisles...I saw it last weekend...but the name of the product escapes me.
Here's what you do: Go to home depot or lowes and ask them...they'll be able to help you get the right product for your problem
Good luck!
Kaboom! works pretty good.
Lime Away. You can buy it at Wal Mart and most grocery stores. Works very well.
have you tried CLR? or LimeAway?
vinegar
Remove the shower head. Soak it in cooking vinegar for 24 hours.
Barry Scott would say - Cillit Bang!
soak it in vinager
vinager. also try using lysol concentrate.
Use a solution of vinegar and water: 1/3 vinegar and water. You can also use this to clean your coffeepots instead of using chemicals to clean your coffemaker.
Soak the head in vinegar!!
Take off the shower head and soak it in a bucket in a solution of warm water and about 3 of those fizzy tablets they make to clean dentures with like Efferdent...works like a charm! Then use the remainder of what's in the bucket to clean the shower.
Install a water softner. Not just a filter but a water softner that uses salt and a reverse osmosis system. Works for my hard water. Try this link.
