Cleaning up my nightmare of a room.. eep!?

Question:Basically, my room is a complete dump.
I keep trying to clean it but I never know where to start.
I also want to give it a Pirate Theme...but not a sad one, like a proper, ship thing.
can you guys help?

Get a kitchen timer. Set it for 15 minutes and clean VERY hard for 15 minutes every day. Your room will soon be clean and will stay that way.

Well to get it cleaned, move in increments. I recently moved to a new house and my old apartment was a mess since this last semester was the worst ever. But, I made a list of all the things or spaces I needed to clean, then checked them off when I finished them.
Start making three big piles.

Keep, Donate, and Trash. Take your closet, then one part of your room then the other. Then put the keep things back. Then, concentrate on design.
Now I can really relate to this question. My daughter's room is like that. She has a big bearded dragon and crickets not to mention pure junk in her room. First thing you have to do is put the junk in the trash. The less junk you have the faster it will be to clean. Bottom line is you just have to do the work.Unless you have a magic wand or a maid. Good luck.
start at the fartest corner from your bedroom door. keep a few lg. garbage bags and just get busy.
Mine too! I never know where to start! I got it--you come clean mine and I'll clean yours! :-) I suppose you can try what I do when I can no longer walk through it--start with the clothes! Wash, dry and HANG up (mine end up sitting in the laundry basket...) that usually helps me get the feel that I'm making a dent in it.
