Laundry powder!!? something cheaper than OMO!?

Question:yet another cleaning question from me! i was shopping yesterday and realised ones again how expensive OMO laundry powder is. (i live in Aussie) but that's what i've always used and i know it cleans great etc. but i'm trying to save money right now and i'm wondering if anyone knows a good washing powder that's cheaper. thanks!

I use SPREE. It does a great job and only costs like $2.50. OMO is sooooo expensive as well as radient and all those others. You can get lemon, lavender apple and ocen breeze in Spree. I really cant tell the difference

I don't live in Australia so I can't advise on brands there but I usually use tide or cheer and also tide w/bleach for white socks .I figured hey it's only for socks right it's all soap anyways so what's the big difference ? So I buy a cheaper brand and my socks came out so darn stiff and rough they also shrunk! My socks were ruined ! So I only buy non white socks now ! Edit : cee ,how do you make it? got a recipe or link to share?
Powder? No But liquid there are several. Where tide costs about .48 cents a use there are some that cost .16 cents per use...there is a company that uses the oils from the trees where you live (Austraila) and is cheap because it is concentrated. You might also consider making your own, I have tried that and it works well, it cost about .72 centa a gallon to make (American money, meaning here) I hope this has helped you.
