What is the best cleaning window washing fluid I can make myself?

Question:I need to wash some windows and want to use environmentally sound materials and cleans dirt quickly without leaving a lot of streaks.

Thanks in advance!

Answers:
Vinegar and water, wipe windows with newspaper.

Here's a link to a site that has a recipe for homemade Windex.
Hope it works for you!
1 cup water
1 cup rubbing alcohol
1 tablespoon ammonia

I absolutely love it. I used it on mirrors that had been filmy and streaky from the previous cleaner. They shined right up with no streaks or residue. I couldn't be happier. I doubt I'll ever buy another bottle of windex again.
White vinegar, or half a cut onion. Really, try it! :)
I see n that you can use newspaper to clean windows. Or you can use a vinegar solution ,with water.
viniger works great so does rubbing alchohol mixed with water i use an old t-shirt insread of pare towels so there aren't streaks and fuzz left behind
I have to say vinegar is the BEST. Dilute with water if you want, but it works even better neat. Takes off grease and leaves no streaks, especially if you wipe with newspaper.
baking soda
Warm soapy water then wipe down after with vinegar to leave no streaks :)
