Whats the BEST way to remove hardwater stains...?

Question:from your kitchen, bath, stove or any other surface?
Thanks in advance to all who answer :)

Answers:
CLR. You should be able to find it in the cleaning supply aisle at the store. The letters stand for calcium, lime and rust. It does work.

Vinegar or a lime remover.
CLR, or lime away. If it's on the bath use "The Works", but don't let it get on chrome! Also make sure you have a window and door open, it is quite powerful.
As others have said, CLR works very well. If you can't find any, or for some reason don't like it, there is another alternative. I had to clean our shower a couple weeks ago, and the hardwater stains were just terrible - caked on. It sounds silly, but toilet bowl cleaner worked like you wouldn't believe! It still took some good old fashioned elbow grease, but our shower looks great now.
