Why does fresh bed linen always feel cooler on the first nights sleeping in it?

The bed feels cooler because there is no sweat in the sheets and that makes them lighter. Its not only body sweat that is in your sheets after a couple of days. There are very small skin particles and hair. All this combined makes it harder for the air to get into the sheets. You also have to think of it this way. When you take the sheets off of the bed and clean them- They have been in the washer and dryer. The dryer pushes air into the fabric and kind of fluffs the sheets.
because the material is ironed down flat. the more you use them the more you have ruffed up the materisl and it traps air which keeps you warm.

i think it is because they are fresh and when you lay on them they absorb and trap heat if you want them to feel like that just turn on a fan and pull the covers off and let the fan do the work
i love getting in to a nice clean fresh bed. but i hate getting out in the morning LOL i change my cover an sheet an pillow cases every 3 days. so alot of washing but worth it lol and most of my bed sets r playboy so gotta look after them LoL
