How quiet is a kitchenaid convection oven?

Well, it is a little noisy. I can hear the fan hum when it is running, but I think the self-cleaning cycle is a little more noisy than the bake, broil, roast functions. It isn't loud enough to have to turn the volume up on the TV which is in the adjoining room, but it is a little more noisy than a traditional electric oven is by virture of the fact that the fan has to run to circulate the air. The energy and time savings, versatility of function and the convenience all make the noise seem like no big deal though.
all convectoion ovens have about the same noise level because of the technology. it is a low hum about the same as your tv on volume setting 9. or about the same as a large microwave
