Get Rid Of Mothball Odor On Your Clothing
To remove mothball odor from clothing that has been store, you should first hang them outside in the fresh air for at least two days. After two days, place the clothing into the washing machine and add one or two cups of white vinegar (depending on how large a load of clothes you have) to the soapy water. Lastly, hang the clothes outside to air dry and do not place them into a clothes dryer until you are certain the mothball smell has been removed. =)

Hang them out in the sun.
hi my name is billie how are you today. when you wash you clothes use a fabric softener like bounce that take away smell & mothballs i use it all the time it works. anymore questions e-mail me billiegotmail@yahoo.com good luck billie
I would try washing them in backing soda becasue backing soda takes the smoke smell out of smoke damaged clothing. I know because I have used backing soda to clean my clothes.
dip the clothe in a laundry softner that u dont need to rinse.. like downy... find the one that u do not need to rinse. that is wat my mom does she puts that softner in a bucket with water then dips the clothes leaves it for like 5 minutes even overnight and the in the dryer with those little cloths u put in like the snuggle ones... but before putting the clothes in the dryer make sure to squeeze out the excess of water. plus u can reuse the water with downy for another clothing.
