How do I clean a tile floor?
Question:
Answers:
I clean houses and use a product called Simple Green. When mopping tile floor I will dilute Simple Green with water. I use a mop that can wring out or sometimes I use a cleaning towel to mop tile floor. I make sure there is plenty of air stirring. Another product I use is Oda Ban it is good and disinfects. Both products are non toxic and made with natural products. Both are good degreasers.
I also got a new tile floor in my kitchen. Use clean water and a rag and mop. It shouldn't be too hard.
You probably want to seal the grout first. Then I use Fabuloso to clean my tile. It smells great!
if there no wax floors just use something like MR clean or pine soil
Tile is very easy to keep clean.I just use a bucket of warm water with some Mr. Clean added. You don't need much.1/4 cup to a bucket full of water.
I rinse with clear warm water and that's it.
If they are no wax tiles never use a harsh detergent or cleaning agent on them as it will strip the shine.
I'm sure other cleaning products such a lysol etc. would work fine also.
vinegar and water is the best for tile and grout other chemicals will hurt the grout after periods of time.
sweep, mop, make it look nice, it shuldnt be hard girl!
I sweep up first then just use warm water - no soap - and that does just fine most times.
If it is particualrly dirty I will add a bit of vinegar or ammonia (but not Both!)
