How do you remove tomato sauce stains from tupperware lids and containers after using it in the microwave?

Question:

Answers:
it is not possible

bleach
have you tried mr clean magic eraser
You can NOT get them out of your tupperware products, these stains will always be there.
My grandma and my mom are always making home made sauce, and usually storing it in tupperware containers.

The stains usually do not come out (Not even after being in the diswasher time and time again). Over time they might fade, but chances are you'll always see the ring of sauce.

I saw that somebody suggested Mr Clean Magic Eraser. That thing does wonders - it really does. I honestly have never used it on our tupperware but its worth a shot. ((Just dont use it on anything with a finish. It took the finish right off our kitchen table!!)

You might also want to try a solution of baking soda and hot water. The baking soda is kind of rough and can act as a scrub. Maybe use it with a brillow pad - no guarentees though.

I wouldnt suggest using bleach. It'll make things smell and it really wont do much. We use a bleach and water solution at home to soak our dishes in after things like raw meet were in them -- sometimes we soak the tupperwear but its never gotten the sauce stains out.)
Actually you really won't be able to remove it all because the acid from the tomato sauce burned into the plastic. A little bleach in the water and just regular dish detergent will get most of it out.
baking soda and water made into a paste and scrubbed in will help a little, the best thing to do is to spray your containers with cooking spray(like pam) before putting tomatoe products in them ,this will help avoid that problem in the future
Sorry to say, you can wipe with Clorox wipes, soak them in bleach water or make a paste and you still won't be able to remove the stains. That's why Tupperware went to the color they did for their three microwave product lines. Doing any one of the things mentioned may reduce the red coloring, but truly will not remove it completely.
