A little bit of LIQUID DISH SOAP works the best - even on most set-in stains! Trust me, it really works! Try it before spending $$ on other products.
If the oil spots have been there for a long time (through several washes, without coming out, etc), its VERY difficult to get out the oil spots. I have tried plenty of products and home remedies to no avail. However, after repeated use I have found some luck with this product...
Carbona Stain Devil #5. They have all different #'s/types for different types of stains. This one is for fat, grease, oil, etc. I had an oil type stain on my athletic hoodie that had been there for quite some time through several washes... Even after that amount of time though this was able to dull it quite a bit after a few uses. On fresher stains this product works much better as well :) It is my favorite for Oil/Grease type stains. rub some gojo or goop in it then wash it
gojo is hand cleaner that auto mechanics use to wash up
Spot treat it with Dawn... it gets the grease out.
