Question:
Answers:
i spray it with oven cleaner and let it sit for a couple of hours then i scrub it with sos pad and then spray it with water hose and let it dry out good and then light it up and cook.
depending on the grill-don't!!
some grills use drip pans to catch the drippings,
depending on what you like to cook, the crusty stuff could add flavor to what you cook.
If you want to clean it I suggest using a garden hose and give it a good "hose down" to get rid of most of the stuff. If you use any cleaners you could get the taste in the food (either smell or actual chemical residue).
If you use lava rocks on the grill, replace them. you can get a bag for less than $10.
If you can remove the parts, you can spray them with oven cleaner, put them in a big garbage bag and seal it off for the night. They should pretty much rinse clean the next day. A half cup of ammonia at the bottom of the bag INSTEAD of the oven cleaner can also work.
