I use to clean for the military when families moved out of the housing. I am also a stay at home mom and I do all the cleaning in the house. If you use windex and news papers to clean your windows they will have less streaks.
Windex and newspaper

Windex with newspaper or coffee filters. Small sections of window at a time. start from the top and work your way down.
I know the newspaper but it's so messy... I prefer with the new microfiber towels or some old cotton dishwasher towels.
Also, I use dish soap with hot water and a splash of ammonia..it work for me.
Get a squeege - it looks a little like a windshield wiper on a car. It is what the pro's use. Work from top to bottom, to avoid drips. It takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it is very quick.
Vinegar and newspapers
use ammonia, dish detergent, and a squeegee. It even makes it fun and it's super quick.
put in a 1/2 cup of ammonia, and a tsp of dis detergent in a five gallon bucket of hot water.

Plus you can clean spots off of clothes you can even wash your clothes in it 1 tablespoon goes along way and you can wash your cat/dog in it too. A+A+A+ reserch it for your self.
