How do u get nailpolish off of a leather sofa?
Question:pleasehelp
Answers:
Please do not try nail varnish remover or any other solvent as this will remove finish and possibly colour from the leather.
You may be lucky and find that it peels off depending what type of leather you have. If it does it may still leave a mark or remove the colour.
Nail varnish remover will definitely remove the pigment from your suite as well as the nail varnish, you will then have another difficult problem to resolve. No available cleaners for leather will remove this type of damage so you have to resort to solvents which like the nail varnish remover will remove pigment. Therefore this is a job for a trained leather technician.

easy one. nail polish remover without the acetone... you may have to rub it a bit to get it off but it will work out just fine.. afterwards apply a leather conditioner to soften up your material.. other chemicals will dry out the leather and are not good... take care
White Spirit / Remember to Polish after or it fades the colours..
Call the place where you purchased the sofa and find out the 800 number for the manufacturer and what information they have as to the model and material of your sofa. Call the manufacturer and tell them everything you know about the sofa and ask them what you could use to remove nail polish.
Most leather sofas as they are called, are not leather sofas. They are an imitation simulated leather, but are actually plastic. Polish remover is made to dissolve nail polish which is also a type of plastic. Thus polish remover might eat a hole in your sofa. If you can't get any assistance from the manufacturer find a place under the bottom or somewhere that doesn't show and try a little bit of polish remover and see what happens. You might luck out and it may have no effect.
Hey! I would just go and pick up some Non Acetone nail polish remover at the store and use some on a cotton swab to remove it from the leather sofa. After you get it off, go back over it with a damp rag to get the nail polish remover smell off. If you do not want to use nail polish remover, I would use some Goof Off! You can get it at your local Lowe's or Home Depot. It takes anything off of any surface. I love that stuff. It does have a funky smell, but it takes care of the problem fast and it is good to keep with you cleaning supplies to take off anything from sticker residue to marker/pen stains to gum. I would put some on an old cloth and lightly rub it on the nail polish stain and then go over it with a damp rag to get off all of the cleaner residue. I hope this helps. Good Luck and God Bless! :)
