How can I get a mold smell out of my washing machine?

Question:

Answers:
Use Pinesol through a cycle.

bleach
I had this problem when we were on well water...

I took two gallons of bleach poured it into the washer filled with hot water and allowed it to set for two days.

Got rid of the odor.
lots of bleach
I would add the bleach and let it stand or about 10 minutes. Use about 2or 3 cups of the bleach with the large level or water. let is just start swishing around with no clothes let is run the cycle so that no bleach is left behind for the other clothes.
I usually will wash the colored clothes first and end by washing my whites in bleach. I dont ever have the mold smell in my machine.
Run a couple of empty cycles with white vinegar instead of soap. then run a couple empty cycles with just water to remove vinegar.
depending on the size of the washer, use a gallon of clorax bleach.
Run a small cycle w/ white vinegar & water. Always leave the lid open when not in use to air it out.
There's a product similar to Nature's Miracle called Simple Solution, you could try that or some ammonia.
Pour a large amount of bleach into your washer and add your detergent. Make sure you run it thru the complete washing cycle! After you could run vinegar with hot water in a full cycle like you would with the bleach and detergent...
nI would try running one cycle through with vinegar to "clean" the basin. Next run a load through with baking Soda to "absorb" any lingering smell. Make sure to run a "just water" to rinse out the reaming vinegar and soda.
USE VINEGAR AT LEAST 3 CUPS AND PUT IT IN CYCLE
Vinegar, pour some in the washer and let it run thru a cycle..
are you sure it is the washing machine? check the drain hose on the machine sometimes the smell of the sewer comes out of the drain hose. if you find that it is the machine just run a tub of water with bleach through that should take care of it
Run a load through with about two cups of bleach by itself. I do this at least once a month to keep my washer smelling great and clean. Try it! It works wonders for me. God Bless! :)
