How can I stop the denim around my back pocket around my jeans from fraying?

Question:Where the back pockets of my jeans have been stitched on, around the edges of the pockets of my jeans the material is fraying. What can I do? I've tried sewing the holes back up but the material keeps fraying.

Answers:
Always turn them inside out when washing them and never sit down whilst wearing them. Best wishes, Mike.

sew on some leather find it in an old disgaurded handbag
start getting off your backside a bit more
fold about 1/4 " in then sew it on
Sewing stores like Hancock Fabric or JoAnn etc. have a product called FRAY CHECK. It is a clear liquid that you squeeze on fabric, it dries and keeps fabric from fraying.
