How to get rid of watermarks on loo and sink?
Question:I have a new loo but it seems to be marked already, and don't know what to use to get off ingrained watermarks. Most commerical products ive tried don't work.
And ive got black scratch type marks on my Butler sink, anyone else had that problem? if so what to do about it.

Hi!
Make a solution of about a cupful of white vinegar and squeeze a lemon into it. Put the solution into a spray (the sort used for mist-watering plants) and spray the area. Go and have a brew.
When you come back use the two halves of the lemon you used for its juice and vigorously wipe the surface. Rinse and look at your smiling reflection in the porcelain.
Good wishes.
Cillit Bang is good for water marks etc.
Try bleaching water but be very careful.Keep target dry and don't inhale fumes.Have thinner nearby in case of skin contact.
Viakal is the best stuff that i've seen; removes water marks so easily.

We had a big old butler sink at my grandmother's. Every night before she went to bed, my granny filled it with water to which she had added bleach.
Lovely and white in the mornings when we came down to wash - yep, no bathroom. You washed in the sink and brought in a big tin bath from the yard for a weekly bath in front of the range.
