How can I get the gum off my t-shirt?
Question:It somehow got into the material so I can see it from outside and inside of my t-shirt.
Answers:
Try freezing the gum by putting ice on it for a few minutes then pick it off or by putting the garment in the freezer and picking it off. Either of the two should do the trick. I learn this as it happens everyday at the school I work and the kids I teach!
Try putting ice on it and scrape off as much residue as possible. Spray liberally, as in soak, with prewash and wash as directed.
I think you can ease it out with lighter fluid, but only if it is not washed and dried into the fabric.
ice will help the gum to harden and peel off-with some effort
i have also heard of peanut butter helping to break down the consistency, but am unsure of the end result
put it in the freezer over night then pick it off
Freeze it, then use cooking oil applied only to the parts in contact. If you have access to dry ice, this would work better. Getting the oil out might require ethylene glycol (this can be found in most spray stain removers)
