Why is my washing machine pulling threads on my net curtains?
Question:I have had my Hotpoint Aquarius for two years with no problems. Now each time I wash something very fine like nets or fine polyester scarf etc. many of the threads are pulled. I wonder if the drum drainage holes get rougher with age. Any ideas? Has this happened to you?

feel around the inside of the drum see if you can find anything sharp if so try and smooth it off if not the put your things in a pillow case there's not much else you can do
Remove the agitater and clean under it.
u should really wash your nets in a pillowcase it will avoid the problem ..
Maybe your washing machine is trying to tell you something??
why are you putting delicate items in the washing machine if previous items are being ruined?
well dear, never put those delicate materials in a machine ..they are soooo easy to wash by hand..and with rubber gloves on and then hang out to dry or spin them and hang in bathroom ..ok honeybee
