Does anyone know how to properly clean a dining room table made of indian hardwood?

Question:The table also has some scratches need some hints to fix them also.

Answers:
well the best thing to to is use a lightly wet towel, where you can barely feel the water, but you know it is there, then dry it and use wood polishing and for scratches, there is wood stain, but it is hard to do to get the right color

Murphy's Oil Soap and water work best for cleaning. Check the hardware department at WalMart. They have colored sticks that look like crayons, that you can use on small scratches.
You can use Old English scratch treament, and/or use Old English polish for future cleaning of the table. Old English is a good cleaner and protector of wood products. You can find it at Wal-Mart and various other stores. Tehre are different types, so be sure to choose the best for your needs.
lemon oil
I always use lemon oil on great wood like that. Also they sell a product that hides the scratches, and it shines it as well.. I believe its Like a liquid gold .. product or in the pledge family.
Old English polish and restore will do the job just match your wood to the polish because there are different tones to choose from. I think you will be amazed with the results.
