I've used this stain remover to get Furniture stain out of cream white carpet and it worked like a dream. Don't know if you could get it by Friday though..you could try calling in your area to see if stores have it in stock.

I've kept 2 bottles of this stuff on hand ever since it worked the first time. This stuff is great and it doesn't damage the carpet.

To remove a tea stain from your carpet, use the following procedure:

1. Immediately blot (do not rub) up any excess stain or liquid with a white paper towel or use a wet/dry vacuum to remove as much of the liquid as possible.

2. Sprinkle the stain with 7-Up, club soda or tonic water. Let set for a few seconds, then blot up using a white paper towel. Repeat this process no stain appears on the paper towel.

3. Rinse with clean water and blot up again until no stain appears on a white paper towel.

4. Mix together 1/4 teaspoon of dishwashing soap and one quart of water. This will go a long way. Use a small amount of this solution and using your fingers, press into stain. Blot excess liquid. Repeat until no stain appears on white paper towels.

5. Sprinkle stain with 3% hydrogen peroxide and let set for four hours. Blot with white paper towels. Reapply hydrogen peroxide and let set 24 hours. Blot. If there is still a stain visible repeat this step.

GOOD LUCK!
try vanish carpet shampoo available in most asdas tescos etc...
White vinegar usually works magic on all stains would'nt be without it.
the above sounds good but if all else fails try carpet paint . i know it sounds strange but they sell this stuff at auto parts stores and if you mist it on the surrounding carpet as well only you will know the stain is there for a long time.
i use hydrogen peroxide on all carpet stains works everytime
Firstly saturate the area with water. then sprinkle on a load of bicarbonate of soda and push it down into the carpet into the stain. Leave it to dry completely, about 24 hours. Vacuum it up. The water loosens up the stain, the bicarbonate soaks up the water along with the stain. it then vacuums up like a normal powder. It also takes away any smell.

I did this recently when my husband was sick on the bedroom carpet and it worked a treat.

Dont bother with expensive stain removers, try the bicarb.
ACE bleach will shift that stain for you available in most supermarkets
Mix a VERY dilute bleach (alkaline) solution - water based.

(Bathroom washbasin with about one inch of water / cap-full of 'thick' bleach.)

Using a WHITE cloth - for example a clean hankerchief - soaked in this and squeased out, gently rub the stain away.

If the carpet starts to 'froth', then your solution is too concentrated. Use fresh water to rinse, via the white cloth.

(From here, use your judgement). But when stain is removed, just be sure that the 'knap' or 'pile' of the carpet is raised (all fluffy) to allow for quick drying with no watermarks.

"Rinse" if you desire, using your white cloth wrung out in fresh water - sort of 'polish' the area concerned.

(Note, using other than white cloths on a light carpet can impart their own colour to the pile, so you end up removing, say, the tea stain but introducing a nice yellow one, green one, purple one etc: the colour of the cloth!)

It is a job that, actually, needs to be done on a white / cream carpet every few weeks. Because with such carpets, at least you can see where the stains are!

Good luck and I hope this helps
Club Soda. Check out my website to book travel and earn extra cash http://www.debbiestravelstore.com/...
Put a solution of oxyclean on it and scrub with a small stiff brush. If this doesn't take out the stain completely apply a little bleach with water and let it stand a few minutes. Rinse with clear water and let dry.
I use ACE on really stubborn stains - you can buy it at the supermarket. I'd try it on a patch of carpet that's hidden first as with all the treatment advice you've been given, you don't want to make matters worse.
1001 carpet stain remover - from all good supermarkets.
Dampen the carpet, sprinkle with bi-carbinate of soda add a little more water until it froths, this should lift the stain to the surface enabling you to blot it up, or try the 'Ace method mentioned earlier.
Next time you spill somethind on your carpet mop it up immediately using kitchen paper and rinse with clean water using a cloth, the newer the stain the easier it is to remove. Good Luck!
go to woolworths n buy dry magic its carpet cleaner its by jml and costs £9.99
