Do all flanelette bed sheets leave balls of fluff on you?or is it only the cheaper ones?

Question:my husband hates me putting the flanel sheets on the bed because he gets all the fluff in his hair and the fluff seems to end up all over the house somehow.is there a way i can prevent this happening?is there something i can put in the wash ?

The cotton fluff should come out in the dryer; If yu hang them up to line dry, put them in the dryer on no heat.
