I am just learning stuff like this, but how do you do laundry?

Question:

Answers:
The first thing you will want to do is "sort" the laundry into Colors:

Lights
Dark
White

For light colored clothing you would use a warm setting
Dark Clothes --- cold
Whites Hot

On the lids of many washing machines you will find instructions for sorting and washer settings.

Front loader machines use less soap then top loaders.

Front loader machine generally hold more clothes also .
TIP: Do Not overload any machine ( do not pack it tight with clothes) Arrange clothes in machine loosely.

Do not over do it with the soap! Follow the instructions on the soap package. If you are using one of those small soap boxes at the laundry mat you will use one entire box per machine.

Dryers-- Again Use appropriate settings, many of which are noted on the machine.

put your clothes in the washing machine and set settings or hand wash
Laundry detergent usually has a cup on it as a top or in it if it is a box. Read the box or bottle to see how much detergent you need for a large load. Fill the cup to the correct line then pour the detergent into an empty washer. Set the washer to a full load and either warm or cold water depending on your clothes. Personally, I use warm for white cotton or polyester type clothes and cold for colors and other types of clothes. Sort your clothes by lights vs darks. Leave the lid of the washer up and start the machine so it starts filling with water. When a little water is in the machine and the soap has dissolved, add your clothes. Don't pack them down tightly because they have to have enough room to move around or they won't get clean! When you have the washer full of clothes, close the lid, and the washer should finish filling up and start washing.
if you have a washer or dryer or you go to a laundry mat. you fill the washer with the clothes that are dirty. Particularly you should divide them up to colors and whites. I don't... because i just don't care. ha ha ha. but if you don't want certain clothes to change color seperate them. Then you fill the machine up to a certain point... not cramming clothes in there if you overflow the machine you will break it . put in soap--- detergent may it be liquid/ or the one that looks like sugar. to the correct amount needed. do not go over with it otherwise you will be cleaning up the mess. Then you set the washer to what you put in there. delicates/regular etc. I use regular for everything but if you have clothes that may shrink or clothes that say on the tag to wash at a certain temp/they go on different settings. Turn the machine on! oh don't use warm water unless you want to clothes to feel a bit tighter. but use it on towells. Then it almost the same for the dryer you put the clothes in put the desired time/heat and clean the lint trap and press/start it up. you can put a lint sheet in there too.
good luck. hopes this helps.
Read the directions on the laundry soap and fabric softener. I would recommend using cold water for all fabrics until you get the hang of sorting the clothes properly.
Get the clothes that are the same color, pick the setting on the machine. Add your soap.. As the water is running. And place your clothes evenly in the washer, shut the top and there ya go!!
I have children to do mine whom I taught very young. So ask your mom.
Usually on every detergent bottle there is directions on how to use there product. On my washer when I open the lid there are directions on how to do the laundry. Oxi clean even tells you how to use there product.
