How do you get a brown stain out of a white purse?
Question:Anyone know how to get a brown stain [i have no idea where its from] out of a white purse?
Answers:
Have you tried that Oxy stuff yet? It works really well on other things, may work here too. I would also try a paste of baking soda and water, or vinegar. With the vinegar, try it first with a little water added. If that doesn't work, try full strength, with a q-tip.
Have the purse dyed brown.
Hey, just thinking outside the box!
Put rubbing alcohol on a cotton and rub on purse...that should do it.
Rubbing alchohol or bleach. Use in controled amounts with a q-tip.
If it is a stain from something, like food or dirt, I would try using some type of cleaner first. I like to use Goof Off. You can get it at Lowe's and it takes almost anything off. I have not found anything yet it didn't help me with. However, if it is a scuff mark, it may be impossible to get it off. I have had this happen to a white leather purse and never could get it off. Good Luck and God Bless! :)
i would need more information. What is it made our of? Try soaking it in cold water and baking soda.
a real good stain remover you can make yourself, and it works fantastic,is,1 cup alcohol,to 2 cups water.spray it on stains.you might have to repeat, depending on what kind of stain it is.
you could try Fantastic spray cleaner or a very mild bleach
Use Greased lightning. Home Depot . Use it in w/cotton ball and then clean the surface with water.
Bleach would be the first thing I would suggest, but you don't say what material it is. so try mixing 1 cup of water to 2 ounces of bleach, and try it out, on a part of the purse that can't be seen too much. Or you might want to take Cascade about 3 ounces and mix it with 1 ounce of dawn or other dish detergent, and 1 cup of water. Mix and apply with a clean sponge. Have a bowl of clean water ready, and after you clean the purse, then clean with clear water. You can also try Hydrogen Peroxide
