How can I get dye out of a cotton shirt?

Question:I wore a red tank-top (had been washed once) under a white cotton shirt and it bled onto it in a few places.

Answers:
Rit color remover and Rit White-wash should do the trick. You can get it at Joann's, Walmart, or Walgreens.

Rit makes a dye remover, but red and blue dyes are hard to remove. You can try to soak the shirt if it is cotton, in a weak bleach solution. If nothing works, tie dye the shirt.

RIT makes a dye remover that you can buy at Wal Mart or K Mart. It's in the laundry ails.
