How to clean the cook top filter?

Take it out run it under some hot water with soap to get the grease loose then pop it inthe dish washer on a hot cycle
We pop ours out and run it through the dishwasher.
I put it in the dish wahing basin, sprayed it with greased lighting or dawn dish detergent. and poured almost boiling water over it from a pot on the stove.

Remove filter from under the hood then spray White Vinegar on the filter and allow to sit for an hour then rinse in hot water and allow to dry before reinstallation. Good Luck !
Remove from vent,then spray with ammonia.Let sit on newspaper for a while then just wash in sink with hot water.Repeat if needed...
We pop ours off and soak it in CLR. GREAT STUFF! No scrubbing the gunk just falls off into the water.
