Where can I get a 3 prong to a 4 prong adapter for a ge dryer?

Question:

Answers:
You don't buy an adapter, you just change out the pigtail. It is not difficult. Go to you local home improvement store. Check with the appliance dept. and tell them you need a pigtail for your dryer (they are universal between dryer manufacturers).

I am pretty sure they don't make them. It is a safety issue. Now I heard of a guy that changed the three prong in the wall for a four prong. He told people it works just fine and is as safe as the original three prong. Of course, you and I wouldn't do that! He just left the green colored slot empty, and put the bare wire in the white slot.
go down to an appliance parts store. there is one in every town. you should also be able to get them at a hardware store, such as home depot or lowes, since they sell appliances.
Just open up the back and replace it.
If you've tried local electrical supply places, have you tried GE?
go to dryer parts.com and there are many companys to help you on parts you need..before i neede parts for my gas dryer and got it next day...good luck
