Fungus growing out the walls of my bathroom?
Question:yeah so in my bathroom theres alot of black stuff on crack of the walls and recently i saw 2 fungus growing out of it (tannish kind, 1 big 1 small) and i ripped them out the wall with tissues and it looked pretty nasty.. what are some things i should use to clean the bathroom?

Bleach will kill mold. That is about it. Call your landlord. Mold kills.
Well some types of mold can be dangerous to your health, and that may just be some of that type. I would get some bleach and scrub the area good, make sure you wear some type of mask so not to breathe any. Also there is most likely more behind the wall that you can't see.
Do you have a leak somewhere in that area? That is the most common cause. Eliminate the leak first to eliminate the mold returning. Then if possible check behind the wall for more, if its a crack in the wall and you are seein the mold on your side, then it is surely gotten out of control on the other side. Use caution when working around it.
After you fix problem it will come back put a moisture remover from home improvement, in bath room please keep in mind bath room is always high humidity. you must have a fresh air intake comming into bath room. common problem area bath in master b ed room area. away from main home area.
try cleaning with straight bleach.after it dries you may want to put some kilz on it.it worked for me
bleach, bleach products, i find soft scrub as the best, pour it on, let it sit for a few min. scrub, rinse. Also Clorox bleach pen is great on cracks, just thin enough & eats just about anything.
I cleaned bathrooms for the military in houses when the families left the houses. I would first call your landlord if you have one and then if nothing happens then call the housing authorities. I wouldn't remove any more of it until some one inspected it. -- Clorox makes a line of wonderfull bathroom cleaners that all have bleach in them. I would look at the store to see what they have and then go form there.
