How do you get rid of dishwasher smell on drinking glasses?
Question:It drives me crazy when I pull a clean glass out of the dishwasher and it smells funny when I drink out of it, like a musty old water smell. I've used jetdry and tried different detergents (liquid dishwasher soap never powered) but nothing gets rid of it. I wonder if skipping the dry cycle would help and let them air dry? Any suggestions?

before i used to drink out of disposable cup's ,for the same reason ,until one day i purchased dish soap with baking soda.

It's old water that your smelling. The best way to get rid of it is to make sure that you dry the glasses immediately. We had that problem for a long time and couldn't figure out what it was.
I use to have a dishwasher when my husband was in the military. It sounds funny but I use to put tang in the dishwasher to clean it. It works wonders.
