How do i fix this?
Question:My daughters jacket got bleach marks on it today. It was tan in colour and now has white marks. I tried bleaching it and went yelloy. Its 97% cotton. How do I re bleach to white and dye.
Answers:
Get her a new jacket. Bleach in the concentrations you used to remove the dye will eventually damage the fabric and the jacket will just fall apart.
you should probably just try to buy a new jacket and replace it.
Go buy her a new one.
Stop further bleaching at this point. You could damage the stitching you will want to dye to a darker color than the darkest area of yellow. Rit dye is good for cotton. Follow directions closely. Use stove top method if you can.

Try Rit Dye Remover and then Tan Rit dye (bottle or powder). Follow directions carefully. It's not likely to come out perfectly, but might be worth a try.
