How do I get dog urine stain off dark brown carpet?
Question:I bought some stuff to clean pet stains but it doesnt seem to work...HELP

Believe it or not, the stuff that the person above me posted actually works. Yes, it is sold on TV, but it's one of the few things on those infomercials that actually works.

Get a carpet cleaner and make sure the cleaning agent is a pet stain formula. You gotta deep clean to get urine out of carpet!
use a steamer aqnd then clean it with carpet shampoo remember do it quick other wise they'll be a smell there forever b/c the carpet absorbs liquids including urine
i have a spray bottle of white vinegar and spray and remove the stain then soak the stain with clean cotton cloth.this works for me..
Carpet Stain Removal:
Sugar Paste works great: Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour, will usually remove anything!! As for any offending odor left just pour 2 parts Vodka in a spray bottle with 1 part Water and spray the area, allow to air dry!

If the "spot" is a lighter color than the carpet, you most likely have color loss. In which case, all the cleaning in the world will not help. Urine will cause color loss if left long enough.
If it's not color loss, then you should hire a professional carpet cleaner who will treat the spot from the top and bottom of the carpet. If the urine has gone into the pad, it will either need to be cleaned or replaced. I've seen some severe cases where the urine contaminated the wood subfloor. It can be cleaned and sealed or may also have to be replaced.
