Is colorfast bleach a sanitizing agent or just a stain remover?

Question:I have to go to the laundromat and try to do as much in a load as possible. It seems to work best to put dark colored underwear in with the T-shirts, but I wonder how sanitary it is. Some of the colored underwear that I've put in with the bleachables has faded as have some darker colored towels. How sanitary is it to wash underwear with other items WITHOUT using any bleaching/sanitizing agent?

i do beleive clorox 2 does have the ability to sanitize. if you have doubts put a cup of vinegar in with colored laundry it will also sanitize and set your colors
