What is this weird thing in my towel? Larva?

Question:Yesterday I found a tiny weird moving thing on one of my face towels I hadn't used in a long time. It's dark-colored, dark brown from what I remember, and barely more than a millimeter. It was moving around the towel much like a worm except, as said, it wasn't elongated, though it seems able to stretch itself some from the twisting and turning it had to do. Really flexible. Any thoughts about what this might be? I'd thought it was probably some sort of larva, but as I have next to no knowledge about those things, any thoughts on what could it be? Termite? Moth? Have you had similar experiences?

Answers:
probably a silverfish. look up the picture of one onlne.

a maggot maybe? I dunno
Did you dry it on a clothesline? It could simply be a critter from outside.
