Answers:
Nail polish remover or scrap it off with a razorblade.

If it was me I'd take some nailpolish remover and a q tip to get it out. It will work.
I know of one product that might remove it. It is sworn to remove nail polish from carpet without harming it. If you would like to know where you can get some let me know. You can't buy it at a store you have to order it on line. You can email me here on my profile.
Good question, I would try the local store you bought it from or even the manufacturer. I am afraid if you use anything else you may lose the finish, if it is stainless steel then don't worry and I would try some paint thinner, just make sure to allow it to air out for at least 24hrs.
Acetone, but be careful that you don't breath the fumes
Before you try anything else, call an appliance store and request help removing the nail polish. You don't want to remove the interior finish on the dryer.

This may work: Buy acetone in the hardware store. It's stronger than nail polish remover.
I would try the obvious nail polish remover. If that doesn't work then contact the company and ask if they can recommend something.
Well I would have thought that nail polish would have gotten it. If you are able to a product called "Awesome" I buy it at the dollar store it is good for all kinds of stuff like this. It is very inexpensive A dollar a bottle. it smells almost like ammonia but there is no ammonia in it. my son once had an ink pin in the pocket of a white shirt and it was washed & dried I put the "Awesome" straight on the shirt and wiped my machines down with it it all came out easily.Good luck
How Awful ... Wear a mask if your gonna use chemicals and also make sure the area is well ventilated.
Because you tried nail polish remover already - I would try some paint thinner and rough cloth, scrub small areas at a time. Good luck
the only thing that will take it off is acetone. this is highly highly flammable and volatile. i would recommend doing it outside and be sure to leave it open to the air for awhile to dissipate any fumes. u can buy it in paint dept of home depot/lowes.
Try some of the cheaper hair sprays, you know the ones that are not ozone friendly? They usually have a high level of acetone in them.
