How do you get nailpolish off of a microfiber couch?
Question:i got it out of the carpet but cant seem to remove any of it from the couch using the same methods.
Answers:
you need to buy 100% acetone from a beauty supply store. apply some to a clean dry washcloth and slowly dab and rub the polish out. if the polish is dried and caked on, you should try to pick it off prior to applying the acetone.
start off with a very very small amount... too much acetone can do damage to certain fabrics... but i've done this before and it works great!
once the polish is removed... take a clean washcloth wrung out with warm water and soap and go over the area. follow and finish with a clean washcloth wrung out with only warm water.
good luck.
try clear gatorade i once spilled it on my couch and it got an ink stain out
The lady i got mine from said all you have to do is BLOT with a damp towel. do not scrub or rub. good luck
