Philips "Easy Clean" bagless vacuum cleaner - any good?

Question:I am trying to choose a new vacuum cleaner and have made expensive mistakes before, anyone know if this is any good? It's the Philips FC8722. If not good, can you reccommend any other one that is in the Kays or Littlewoods catalogues? It's the only way i can afford one at the moment!! Thanks.

probobly not... where would all the dust go?
we have had a dawoo for ages about £20 they sell them so cheap our days you could get one from the local supermarket for net to nothing and if it brakes down they just give you your money back or change it.catalogue although useful charge to much just get the most power ful cheapest one they are all gimmicky to hype the price up
Eurekas Boss- it's a light weight canister.
may I suggest the Dyson,? I have had 4 hoover´s & so far the dyson has been the best. yes it cost more but it´s worth the money. Also the filter is very easy to wash. I´m not sure if the Philips is a good hoover or not , I only know my Dyson works very well
i have swan dirtmaster trio bagless 1600w and its 59.00 from littlewoods home shopping its powerful and comes with different tools for all floors , i have ad lots of hoovers over the years and just because they are high powered doesnt mean they are the best let me know which 1 you get
