How do you permanently eliminate static from slacks / trousers?
Question:
Answers:
use plain white vinegar it will get ride of the static and it will make your clothes smell nice it will also make them soft and remove the lint that builds up on them... just add it to the rinse cycle instead of fabric softner!!
You can mitigate the effects of static electricity on your clothing, but you cannot permanently eliminate it.
Why? Because static electricity is often created by interaction with many other materials, not just the ones in question.
Use a dryer sheet (anti-static cling sheet) and some softner in your wash. Both will greatly reduce static cling.
I don't think it's possible to permenently get rid of it, but
"Static Guard" spray always works great for me...
